SINS Second Coming
almost 4 years ago – Tue, Apr 07, 2020 at 12:47:34 PM

Hello Sinners,

BackerKit is closed, production is in progress and the world is still in disarray. Hopefully you’re using this time to enjoy this wonderful hobby of ours and being with your loved ones ♥️

Print n Play will be send out within the next week.

Remember to read our latest reviews if you missed the update.

SINS Second Coming…

While production is in full swing, we are taking a break from the operational tasks, and are starting work on the next trilogy for SINS. We are planing our next campaign for summer, approx June, with box 4, 5 and 6.

We are introducing 4 new elements to the game; relics, minions, passive effects and champions.

Relics will function like attachments, cards you can play upon other cards, either to strengthen or weaken, depending on your strategy or target. Relics are often useless on their own, but becomes mighty in combination with the right sin.

Minions are illusive cards, that you can spawn from separate card piles, giving you the ability to plan ahead. Saving the best for later. While you might appear weak, a sudden burst of minions can overrun your opponent.

Passive Effects are card abilities that can be used out of turn or directly from your hand, when the effect triggers. This will allow for a rich environment and many strategic combinations throughout all the Box Sets.

Champions are boss-battles, featuring plastic miniatures and a unique boss deck, obstructing the Realm. Champions can be attacked or subdued, giving you desirable and powerful cards to your deck construction. But be careful, as Champions are clever beings, that can fight back, with a vengeance. Champions will be available as both added interaction between players, but also introduce a new solo mode, coop mode and semi-coop mode.

Eternals…

Our big box game Eternals, is coming to Kickstarter at the end of the year. Eternals is a hex skirmish game, where 1-4 player selects 1-3 sins and pits them against each other. Each sin comes with their own powers, abilities and minions. Infernal warbands fighting for dominance. We hope you’re as exited as we are. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Kickstarter, YouTube, Instagram or subscribe to our newsletter for more information along the way.

That’s it for now. Have a wonderful week and stay safe!

Pledge Manager Closing, Reviews & Racing!
almost 4 years ago – Tue, Mar 31, 2020 at 12:52:33 PM

Hey Sinners,

Hope you're all well and having fun playing board games at home. Here, things are moving fast. We are growing as a company. We've made a distribution deal with Asmodee for the EU and are starting a sales team up in the US. We've made a two-year roadmap for new games, which we will reveal as we move along. You've probably seen that we have more SINS planed for summer. This is all thanks to you, our dear backers, helping us off the ground. We literally went from zero to "hero" as a company, based on this campaign alone. Thank you all so much for believing in our game and in our efforts.

The Clock Is Ticking...

24 hours left to change, upgrade or add your pledge. We are closing our pledge manager tomorrow and this is our last warning to make changes.

Reviews Are Coming In From All Sides...

Northern Dice wrote, “Light deck-builders are often big hit or major miss. Sins by Cortadoo Games is a big, big hit for us! Fast play, structured rounds, and excellent fun! Check out why we enjoyed it so much!”.

Board's Eye View wrote, “You just need to pick your SINS! This game is a must try for all those that enjoy the genre. SINS feels more tactical because the game isn't just about causing as much damage to the opponent as possible but also playing cards so that you know how much weakness is in your Despair pile so it can be successfully resolved”.

Expand Your Game wrote, “Time to talk about a unique deck builder while there is still an opportunity to back it. This is a unique head to head deck builder as there is a push your luck element and deck deconstruction mechanism that makes the game stand out”. See his full review below.

Light, Fun & Strategic Racing...

And now for something completely different. Together with Jack in the Box Games, we've launched our next Kickstarter, Up & Away. Draft your engine, build your strategy and race towards the finish line. Up & Away is a wacky fun-filler for 2-6 players in 30 min. We hope you'll take a look and consider supporting our new game, now live on Kickstarter.

That's it for now. Have a wonderful Tuesday out there!
